World Fair Trade Day is May 10th, 2025, and this year the Fair Trade Federation is focusing on:  The Future of Responsible Trade. In that spirit, we're reflecting on what that future means to us:  how fair trade principles can evolve to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s possibilities.

We work with over 30 artisan groups across 15 countries, keeping traditional crafts alive. Whether it’s felt-making in Nepal or glassblowing in Guatemala, our partnerships help preserve centuries-old techniques while modernizing designs for contemporary markets.

4. Investing in Artisan Communities

Beyond wages, Global Goods Partners reinvests proceeds into artisan communities by providing funding for education, healthcare, and skills training. These initiatives create long-term stability, ensuring artisans can grow their businesses and pass down their craft.
