Made from repurposed Vietnam War era bombs, plane parts, military hardware and other aluminum scrap left in Laos, the stunning Revolution Hoop Earrings are a conversation starter in themselves. As part of the “Buy Back The Bombs” movement, the metal is melted and cast by hand to turn war into love.
These elegant and lightweight earrings enables the clean up of 12-20 square-meters of bomb-littered land in Laos, and the recycling of littered bombs turning them into beautiful jewelry.
Each piece gives back to support traditional Laotian artisan livelihoods, village development, community endeavors and further de-miniing efforts.
