Talented artisans from Le Souk Ceramique free-hand paint this intricate design using only food-safe colors and glazes. Le Souk supports the artisans with healthcare, social security, a living wage and safe working conditions.

These gold-plated star earrings are detailed with lapis lazuli, a stone that has been treasured in Afghanistan for thousands of years. The earrings are part of a semi-precious jewelry collection from Future Brilliance, a nonprofit organization in Afghanistan that provides employment and fair living wages for artisans trained in metal smithing.
